Vedanta in Daily life:

Tulsi's father talked to her about whatever philosophical idea he was engaging with. He never believed that she was too young to understand, nor that she was a mere girl who couldn’t grasp ‘difficult’ ideas. Tulsi realizes now how much he taught her without seeming to; these were conversations not classes. The philosophical truths he taught her sustained her during times when she could not make much sense of the world. Vivekananda’s ‘living Vedanta’ is perhaps more difficult to grasp and practice than the abstract philosophy of Advaita Vedanta. Tulsi wishes to share her insights with others, to show how some of these truths when applied to the most difficult situations in real life can help one pass from, as Swami Vivekananda said, 'truth to truth—from a lower truth to a higher truth—and never from error to truth.'
